West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change (WA BiCC) is a five year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to build regional and national institutional capacity to strengthen the enabling environment throughout West Africa to combat wildlife trafficking; improve coastal resilience; and reduce deforestation, degradation, and biodiversity loss in key forests. The overall goal of WA BiCC is to improve conservation and climate-resilient, low emission growth across West Africa. To achieve this WA BiCC works in partnership with three core regional partners which are ECOWAS, the Mano River Union (MRU) and the Abidjan Convention.
The WABiCC project needed a website to serve as a key marketing and communication tool that comprehensively reflects the scope and depth of the program, as well as the work of the designated West African and implementing partner theinspectorscompany.com escondido ca organizations.
Makedu designed, developed, maintains and hosts an information system, as well as a monitoring & evaluation system for the West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change Program (WA BiCC).
